FoxBox Overview Print
foxboxc-2.jpgDesigned specifically for field work, the FoxBox is a research grade, integrated oxygen and carbon dioxide analysis instrument that includes a variable pump and mass flow controller (range 20 - 2000 ml/minute). All of these instruments are integrated into a small, light, compact, hermetically sealed, dustproof, waterproof and essentially indestructible box.

Who says you can't take it with you? Roll it down sand dunes, throw it into rivers, retrieve it from the stomachs of crocodiles, then pop open the lid and enjoy full research-quality O2 and CO2 analysis with versatile mass flow measurement and control - anywhere. You only need a source of 12 VDC (universal 100-250VAC to 12VDC adapter supplied), or our rechargable battery pack. The FoxBox is quite compact, eh?

The FoxBox features oxygen measurement to 0.001%, carbon dioxide measurement to 1 ppm, barometric pressure compensation and measurement to 0.001 kPa (or a few inches altitude difference), two accessory temperature or voltage input channels, data acquisition, built-in data storage, multiple, multi-range analog outputs, and, of course, full serial output. It's even available in a gray, bright yellow or orange case.

If you just want the FoxBox for oxygen right now, it can be upgraded to add carbon dioxide analysis later. And, while designed primarily as a field-portable instrument, the FoxBox's high quality gas analyzers are also at home in your laboratory. You can use it is a general purpose, research-grade respirometry system for animals up to rats in size without requiring any other apparatus apart from a computer for acquiring/uploading and analyzing your data.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS

The FoxBox comes in 2 configurations, O2 analyzer only, or O2 and CO2 analyzer.
