The MF-8 allows you to set a precise flow rate through each
of up to eight output ports. This facilitates quick and easy respirometry
(flow-through type) on up to eight respirometry chambers at once, with one
chamber operated in "push mode" connected to each output port. The feasible flow
rate range is 20 - 2000 ml/minute on each port. The only alternative technique
of producing several accurately-known flow rates at once is to use a battery of
mass flow controllers, which is a far more expensive proposition. You can use as
many MF-8s as you wish; some of our customers run up to 64 individual channels.
