RH-300 Overview Print

rh300.jpgThe Sable Systems RH-300 water vapor analyzer measures the relative humidity, dew point, water vapor pressure or water vapor density of an air stream pulled or pushed from a growth chamber, respirometry system, incubator, room, or other macro- or micro-environment in science or industry.

The RH-300 is a flow-through water vapor analyzer, giving it greater versatility than a conventional probe-type humidity meter. Flow rates can be as low as 5 ml/min or as high as 2000 ml/min, at any ambient temperature from 0 to 60 degrees C. Plus, a remote sensor option is available (shown at bottom right).

Key features of the Sable Systems RH-300 mRH-300 Remote Sensoreter are its high resolution, versatility, reliability, and low cost. The RH-300 is light (under 1 kilogram), compact, and powered by uncritical 8- 20VDC power (AC power adapter supplied). The RH-300 requires less than a minute of warm-up time, consumes less than a watt of power, and has no moving parts or delicate, contamination-prone chilled mirrors.

An internal microcomputer running proprietary code handles calibrations, operational checks, temperature compensation, and the large number of complex mathematical operations required for the continuous calculation of relative humidity, water vapor pressure, dew point and water vapor density, all in real time.
