Response time: Oxygen: < 7 seconds for 10-90% of a step change at a subsampling rate of 200 ml/minute; carbon dioxide < 1 sec; water vapor < 8 sec; all can be substantially reduced during data analysis
Flow Rate and Moisture: Effect of flow rate on readings from 20 - 500 ml/minute subsampling rate is negligible; not damaged by moisture; particulates are trapped by built-in filters
Barometric Pressure Compensation: Executed in floating-point math; eliminates drift caused by variations in barometric pressure.
Analog Outputs: Oxygen (5 ranges, 3 ranges zero-suppressed); Barometric pressure (3 ranges, 2 ranges zero-suppressed); Temperature (3 ranges, 2 ranges zero-suppressed); CO2 (5 ranges); Flow rate (8 ranges): Water vapor pressure/water vapor density (10 ranges); plus User-defined. 0-5V with 16 bit resolution on all outputs
Serial Data Output: Comma delimited ASCII string of all measured parameters, standard RS-232 serial, baud rate adjustable from 9600-115200, polled or auto-sent at user definable intervals from 0.1 - 600 seconds
Digital Filtration: Adjustable from zero to 50 seconds for 0-63% of a step change, in 0.2 second increments.
Internal Data Acquisition: 8 channels -5.12 - +5.12V, 16 bits; 4 channels temperature/resistance voltage (0-5.12V), all 16 bits; 8 digital outputs; two analog outputs (0-5V, 12 bits)
User Interface: Intuitive menu system backed by nonvolatile memory of user settings. Single-click spanning at default span settings
