First, we'd like to make an admission. The real Zzyzx
home page is run by the folks at Cal State Fullerton, who are not to blame
for anything that happens here.

THIS web page is run by an assortment of folks who do research at Zzyzx. It
gives you an introduction to the history of the place. More to the point, it
takes you on a small photographic tour of Zzyzx and describes some of the
research being conducted there. This page was assembled by the John Lighton
Lab at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
It's an ongoing project, and we welcome contributions of text, GIFs and JPEGs
from researchers who've worked at Zzyzx. We'll fit them into this
bandwidth-aware site as opportunity allows. Or, simply send prints or text to John
Lighton, Department of Biological Sciences, University of Nevada at Las
Vegas, 4505 Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154-4004 (ph. 702-895-3967). We're
not responsible for the fate or use, non-use, misuse or abuse of submitted
materials, though.
Please note that this page is UNDER CONSTRUCTION and we haven't gotten
around to (and/or haven't dared) to get all the links up and running. Stay
tuned.
