Mass Flow Generators
Our mass flow generators combine calibrated, linearized mass flow meters with variable-speed air pumps. Sophisticated computerized modulation of the pump controls the mass flow rate of air to yield a precise flow rate set by the user. Pump wear is minimized and reliability is maximized. All of our mass flow generators can operate in stand-alone or computer controlled mode.

The FlowKit mass flow controller and pump is an integrated low-noise pump and mass flow generator that accurately, quietly and economically provides large flow rates. FlowKits are available with flow ranges of 5-100, 50-500, and 400-2000 liters per minute. FlowKits are useful for applications such as large animal respirometry or air circulation in small, controlled environments. Features:

The MFS mass flow generator is capable of generating and maintaining set flow rates within 2% of full scale. The MFS is available in two standard configurations for flow ranges of 25-2000 and 50-4500 ml/min. Compared to typical pump and mass flow control valve arrangements, it is quieter and uses less power without sacrificing accuracy or stability. The MFS is suitable for use as a primary flow generator for respirometry systems or any application that needs a regulated flow.
