This cage respirometer is designed for use in pull-mode respirometry, which is an advanced mode utilized in our multiple-animal metabolic measuement and metabolic screening systems. Because the chamber does not need to be perfectly sealed, the animal can be allowed access to food and water without disturbing ongoing respirometry. Bedding is also permitted, allowing your experimental animals to create an optimal thermal microenvironment.
