Sable Classic line instruments provide the ultimate combination of performance and flexibility in in the measurement and control of gas, flow, humidity, temperature and pressure. We offer a broad range of devices that can be configured as a system or used in stand-alone capacity. Our module-based calorimetry systems offer the unique Sable advantages of raw data preservation, pull-mode respirometry and direct measurement of water vapor. Each instrument can be operated and controlled locally or through ExpeData™ software.
Flexibility and Ease of Use – Sable Classic system components can be used in stand-alone capacity or custom-configured as a complete system for your specific research needs. As stand-alone instruments, they each offer intuitive operation and easy to read displays. Configured as a system, they can also be controlled via Sable’s ExpeData data analysis software application.
Proven Performance – The superior performance of Sable Classic line instruments has been proven in many published scientific studies. You’ll have confidence knowing that your study results are highest quality and fully transparent.
Raw Data Storage means there are no secret algorithms, or hidden pre-conditioning of data, just data that is transparent and fully traceable. The parameters important for your research can be extracted any way you like. Nothing is ever lost again. If you decide to reanalyze the collected data or verify/validate for QC purposes, the original data is fully accessible in its original state.
Water Vapor Dilution Compensation allows you to avoid sample gas drying and significantly increase accuracy of results. The system uses the readings from the water vapor pressure analyzer, together with data from the analyzer’s barometric pressure sensor, to perform water vapor dilution compensation for O2 and CO2 concentrations, plus flow rate correction for the presence of water vapor.
Pull-Mode Flow Generators (patent pending) allow the use of essentially any standard live-in cage bottom for measurement. All you have to do is to replace the lid. No handling of the mouse, no unfamiliar new environment. This is a significant advancement over conventional systems, which use sealed cages – causing stress effects and requiring long acclimation times.
