Description
Sable Systems’ IM-3 browser-based interface is integrated with our existing data acquisition software package to provide unsurpassed data collection in real time. A single license of two separate programs – one for data acquisition and another for analysis can be run on separate computers, enabling a technician to run a test while an investigator analyzes another data set. Systems require only one acquisition and one analysis software license, reducing expenses associated with software licensing and simplifying upgrades and updates.
IM-3 Browser-based Interface Software
The IM-3 browser-based interface software provides status at-a-glance of all operation of the Promethion Core system including the flow generators, gas analyzers, and cage sensors. The system status and data files can only be accessed from authorized web-enabled devices including cell phones, tablets and laptops. Gas calibrations can be initiated on the system through this interface as well.
Promethion Core Browser Interface: Real-Time Data
MetaScreen
Together with the IM-3, MetaScreen automates the acquisition of synchronized metabolic, intake, and activity data – in real time – automatically coordinating behavioral data rather than manually combining individual data streams. Engineered to be simple and user friendly, it is also highly flexible and configurable. Each test setup can be saved and recalled, simplifying setup and reducing time between tests. Cages can be configured individually to support any combination of Promethion sensors, and all data from all sensors is backed up by recording to the IM-3 every second ensuring that your data are secure.
ExpeData
The Promethion data analysis software package, ExpeData, allows the user to explore acquired data in a rich graphic environment where each parameter of the system has been recorded once per second enabling real time analysis or user-selectable temporal resolution for comparison to previous research. ExpeData automated analysis scripts can be run on data sets to generate customized data outputs allowing the same analysis to be performed on multiple data sets in minutes, not days. All data are stored in raw form, so that all Promethion data are fully traceable and will stand up to peer review. Raw data storage also allows for future analyses to be performed on a previous experimental run ensuring versatility of your data and experimental time.
