The Metabolic
Physiology Meeting
2024
Hosted by the White-McGarrah Lab with support from Sable Systems
APRIL 22-25, 2024
BEACH HOUSE
HILTON HEAD ISLAND
SOUTH CAROLINA, USA

The Metabolic Physiology Meeting 2024 brings together trailblazers in metabolic physiology research from around the globe. It’s the second edition of a yearly scientific meeting hosted by Phillip White and the White-McGarrah Lab with the generous support of our partners at Sable Systems International.
This year’s meeting will cover a broad range of topics including molecular mechanisms governing metabolic homeostasis, nutrient sensing, metabolic flux, cancer metabolism and immunometabolism, and provide a home for discourse and networking across the many distinct domains of metabolic physiology research.
THE SABLE AWARD

Each year, the Metabolic Physiology Meeting will be capped with the presentation of “The Sable Award for Outstanding Contributions to the field of Metabolic Physiology” which will be accompanied by an award lecture and honorarium for the recipient. The 2023 recipient of The Sable was Kathryn Wellen, PhD, for her pioneering work defining the mechanisms by which cellular metabolic processes influence gene expression. Join us in April to discover who will be this year’s recipient of The Sable!
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
